We left Logiya… At the end of a long road / track lined with desert landscapes, we reach the shores of Lake Afdera which culminates at -100 m below sea level.
Afdera is located in the Danakil depression, the hottest desert in the world. The lake has a high salinity of marine origin. The salt is taken from the lake since centuries.
